Ingredients
- 400 g cooked rice (day old)
- 2 tablespoon Volcano Heat Trassi
- 2 whole egg
- 100 g bacon lardons
- 3 stalks scallions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
Method
- 1
Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Fry the bacon until crispy and add the minced garlic.
- 2
Add the rice and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the grains are separated and heated through.
- 3
Stir in the Volcano Heat Trassi and soy sauce, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 4
Push the rice to the side, crack the eggs into the empty space and scramble them, then mix into the rice.
- 5
Garnish with scallions and serve immediately, with extra sambal on the side if desired.
Tip from Garlicmaster: Always use rice from the day before — fresh rice will stick and become mushy in the wok. And add the sambal only when the rice is almost done, otherwise the trassi will burn.
