Ingredients
- 200 g udon or ramen noodles
- 5 cloves garlic
- 30 g butter
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon gochujang
- 1 tablespoon Red Dragon Manis
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 stalks green onion
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 pieces egg
Method
- 1
Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain but reserve the cooking water.
- 2
Melt butter in a skillet. Fry the minced garlic for 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 3
Add soy sauce, gochujang, and Red Dragon Manis. Stir for 30 seconds.
- 4
Add noodles and a splash of cooking water. Toss everything together over high heat.
- 5
Fry the eggs in the same pan. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles, sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds. Top with the fried egg.
Tip from Garlicmaster: Gochujang is the secret — it delivers a deep umami heat that Red Dragon Manis alone can't achieve. Together they're perfect.
